The Documents tab is displayed when you access the Account Binder page. It displays the tax documents for the account you opened for the tax year you are working with.
Note:
If you try to open an account and a message indicating that the account has not been released for review displays, then you cannot open that account to review its tax documents until after the milestone is reached.
The Documents tab uses several features to organize the tax documents for an account. The features include:
The Tax Year buttons, which are located along the left side of the tab. These buttons let you see all of the documents for the account for a specific tax year. When you first access the Documents tab, the list of documents you see corresponds with the tax year you are working with. To view the documents for a different tax year, click the Tax Year button that corresponds to the tax year you want to view the documents for. The Tax Year button is dimmed and unavailable for any year that does not have at least one document associated with it. If the documents for a year are not released for review, you will not see any documents.
The folders. Folders organize the account's documents into categories. For example, the Worksheet folder organizes all of the account's worksheets for the year. The Tax Returns folder organizes all of the account's tax returns for the year.
Click the Documents tab.
